| Replica bodies can be based on various forms of information.
Ideally we would be supplied with an original working drawing or possibly an
original car from which we have the facilities to create those drawings.
When working from photographs we are able to use a unique overlay method to attain very accurate dimensions and profiles. It is sometimes necessary, as with the design of original bodies, to make a scale model before transferring this information into a wire cage mock up. The mock up establishes the practicality of driver position, passenger accessibility and, when covered in paper, provides a fair indication of the finished cars shape and proportions. |
